Collage (photo and felt), acrylic and chains on canvas

I have a button on my easel with the George Braque quote: "Art is meant to disturb." While I actually don't think that's art's sole purpose by any means, I do think making people think and possibly feel uncomfortable can be one of its many functions.

Terry, my housemate, said she finds this "very disturbing," which to me means I'm a hit. The actual looks much better than this image of it so if I know you, you should definitely come over to my house and check it out in person.
